Trams, buses, metro – Public transport is clean, safe, and straightforward. Gender expression won’t raise eyebrows, even late at night.
Bikes – It’s Amsterdam, everyone cycles. Queer couples, drag artists, tourists in heels. Just follow the rules and stay in the lane.
Walking – The city is made for walking, especially in Centrum, De Pijp, and Jordaan. PDA is common and safe in nearly all areas.
Taxis & rideshares – Uber and Bolt operate, but most locals prefer biking or trams. No issues for queer travellers.
